Photographed in Needham, MA after the crew wrapped up in January 2022. Front views show a cape clad in soft olive-green lap siding, crisp white trim around the dormers and windows, and a dark entry door under a molded crown above brick steps.
Two of the three photos here show a two-and-a-half story house rather than a cape. The side elevation has a projecting two-story bay under a bracketed gable, a stepped-down rear wing, a brick chimney at the far end, and an exterior stair down to a basement door beside a stone foundation. The front gable is symmetrical: a louvered vent in the peak, paired upper windows in a shallow bay, and a wide three-part bay window below. The last frame, shot late in the day, catches the gable wall in shadow with an attached porch roof and icicle lights strung along its fascia.
Both stories and the half-story gable were reclad, including the projecting bays, the rear wing, and the wall above the porch roof. Window casings, corner boards, frieze, and rake trim were installed in white, and the crew ran siding down to the stone foundation and around the basement stair. Gutters and downspouts were replaced along the eave lines.
Details visible in the photos include twin front dormers, decorative entry crown molding, brick front walkway. Materials on the elevation: fiber cement lap siding, white PVC trim, white vinyl windows, asphalt shingle roof.
