INSTALLATION DETAILS (SIDING)

Complete tear-off of existing siding and underlayments in order to expose and confirm the integrity of the existing wall sheathing. (Full strip installation only).
Installation of your choice siding panels according to the manufacturer's specifications with corrosion-resistant nails.
Inspect the wall sheathing for rotted or damaged wood. Replacing 32 sq. feet of rotted wall sheathing is complimentary. If wood decking that needs to be replaced exceeds 32 sq.feet it will be installed at $135 per sheet of plywood (4'x8'). Or $7 per linear foot of wood boards. Will be performed only if the full strip option has been chosen.
Install new house wrap on all sheathing surfaces with staples to form a sealed, breathable moisture barrier that keeps walls dry and prevents any mold and water damages. Will be performed only if the full strip option has been chosen.
Install new 3/16 backer board for lining up of existing siding. (Layover projects only, available as an upgrade option on full strip projects).
Installation of your choice aluminum j-less wrap or PVC board casing around all doors and windows. Finish trim along all edges and window sill to be installed. See project specifications below.
All windows and door casing to be properly flashed and sealed with color match caulking.
Install outside and inside corner posts to receive siding panels and create a finished look. Material type to be used for corners to be determined by the customer and specified in project details. Different styles and types are available as an upgrade option.
New shutter to be installed - existing shutters to be reinstalled, if in good condition - no shutters. See project specifications below.
Installation of your choice trim material on soffit and fascia areas: either aluminum wrap with vinyl sot or PVC board depends on your choice. See project specifications below.
Installation of factory-made vinyl or custom-made PVC blocks for all light fixtures, faucets, outlets, dryer vents, etc. All wall penetration to be properly sealed to prevent any water or insects from getting in.
Removal of existing downspouts (keep gutters in place) to avoid any damage during the siding installation OR replacement with new gutters and downspouts if selected. Micro Guard gutter protection system is available as an upgrade option. See project specifications below.
Wall areas along with chimneys, decks, roofs to be properly flashed if needed.
All wall accessories that were removed prior to the installation to be installed back. (Doorbells, mailbox, house numbers, light fixtures, AC line covers, cameras).
Clean up all debris and perform a magnetic sweep of the property to pick up any loose nails.
Ladders will have stabilizers and protective pads to help protect your property; Shrubs and landscaping will be protected with tarping as needed.
Dumpster on site to be supplied by UBrothers Construction. Delivery of dumpster to a mutually agreed location. Prompt removal of a dumpster after project completion.
Delivery of materials to a mutually agreed location. Prompt removal of extra materials after project completion. In order to prevent any delays, we always order extra. The customer is responsible for
materials after the delivery.
Building Permit to be pulled with your local town Hall if required. An additional fee of 1000 $ for an electrical permit could be added if local town authorities won’t issue a building permit without having an electrical one. Copy of permit to be provided as evidence. In most cases, the electric service is attached to the home in such a way, that we are able to remove and install new siding seamlessly.
Customers will get 5 Years One-time Transferable Warranty on all workmanship.
