We completed this siding job in Boston, MA in August 2022. Crisp warm-white fiber cement lap siding meets black window frames and a black standing-seam metal canopy over the side entry, with a cantilevered upper floor cleanly wrapped in white trim.
These photos catch a nearly finished build with construction fence still around the lot and lumber stacked on the gravel. The house is clad in warm-white lap siding with board-and-batten filling the gable peaks, and the upper floor cantilevers out over a covered lower patio with black posts and firewood stacked underneath. Black-framed windows still wear their factory labels. At the entry, a black standing-seam canopy hangs over paired full-lite doors on white columns, with a gray composite landing and temporary wood steps down to the site. A wood-slat balcony projects from the far corner.
Two profiles were run on the same house, lap on the field walls and board-and-batten in the gables, with a flat band trimming the transition. The cantilevered upper floor is wrapped tight in white trim and the underside detailed as a finished ceiling. The entry canopy sits on square white columns with its own standing-seam roof and matching black drip edge, and the porch landing is composite with temporary treads still in place for the punch list.
