CertainTeed Siding in Boston, MA

Photographed in Boston, MA after the crew wrapped up in January 2022. A three-story multifamily is finished in soft sage green, mixing shake-style panels on the upper walls with lap siding below, all outlined by white corner boards and window casings.

The house is a boxy two-story with a shallow hipped upper roof and a flat-roofed rear bump-out. The back elevation carries an exterior stair up to a second-floor entry door with a small landing, and a lower service door set into the sided wall under it. Shake-style panels cover the broad upper walls while narrow lap siding runs across the stair bay and lower level. Around front, a small gabled entry portico with white returns steps out from the wall, and a brick chimney climbs the side.

The exterior was re-clad over the whole building, mixing shake panels on the large wall planes with lap siding on the narrower bays and lower level. New white casings were run around every window and around the rear entry door, and a white band was carried across the wall where the flat roof of the bump-out meets the upper story. A dumpster on site shows old material was torn off and hauled out.
