A deck building project our team completed in Greater Boston, MA - December 2025. A pale yellow home with white trim carries an elevated rear deck wrapped in white balusters, with tall lattice skirting below and a bank of grid-pattern windows lighting the gable end.
Three close views of a raised deck on a cream-sided house. The gable end shows tall grid-pattern windows above a run of white skirting boards set as widely spaced vertical slats over a dark ground, hiding the deck's underside. A second view catches the deck itself: white balusters run behind a section of siding-clad knee wall, with a wall lantern beside the door. The last photo is at ground level, showing brown composite boards, white square posts with molded caps, a rounded top rail and box steps landing on a poured pad and crushed-stone bed.
Framing sits on posts landing over a concrete pad, with the perimeter closed in by a solid white skirt board and slatted skirting panels. Composite decking was laid over the joists and finished with a border board, and the railing package went on as white posts with molded base and cap trim, square balusters, and a continuous graspable top rail carried down the stair.
Details visible in the photos include white balustrade deck, gable end with shingle siding, banked window wall. Materials on the elevation: vinyl lap siding, shingle-style gable siding, white PVC railing, white lattice skirting.
Built with AZEK, Trex. The finish shown is soft yellow. Deliveries were staged so materials weren't sitting on the lawn for weeks. One project manager ran the job from first measurement through final walkthrough.
