Holliston, MA - deck building completed April 2023. A creamy off-white board-and-batten entry bay steps forward from the pale yellow clapboard, sheltered by a black metal hood on white brackets, with black double doors and matching lantern sconces over brick steps.

The entry bay is a two-story projection with board-and-batten cladding and an arched-top window above the door. A close view shows the standing-seam hood with its exposed seams and clips, carried on tapered white brackets, and black double doors with three-lite upper glass set in a deep white surround. Lantern sconces flank the opening and a keypad lock sits on the left jamb. The in-progress shot has housewrap flapping loose around the bay, the hood and brackets already installed and the pale yellow clapboard still on the flanking walls.

The existing entry was reframed into a projecting bay, wrapped, and clad in board-and-batten while the flanking clapboard walls stayed. New double doors were set in a built-up white surround, and a metal hood on wood brackets was installed above them. The arched-head window above went in as part of the same bay, with trim and crown detail built out after the wrap.

Details visible in the photos include black metal standing-seam door hood, decorative white brackets, black double entry doors. Materials on the elevation: board and batten siding, lap siding, white PVC trim, black double entry doors.

Products used: James Hardie, ThermaTru, Andersen. The finish shown is creamy off-white. Progress photos went to the homeowner as the job moved along. Permits, inspections and dumpster logistics were handled by us.
