Photographed in Hopkinton, MA after the crew wrapped up in January 2022. Both photos show the home wrapped in warm clay-toned lap siding with cream window casings and corner boards, carried consistently across the main block, the dormer and the attached gambrel-roofed wing.
The rear of this house is a plain two-story gable block with six windows in a regular grid, a single door at grade and a tall gambrel-roofed wing that swings toward the camera with a blank end wall. Photos show the clay-toned courses run out unbroken across that big wing, with a white rake, a downspout at the inside corner and the concrete foundation left exposed at the bottom. A separate frame shows the front, where two gabled dormers sit in a gambrel roof beside a full-height brick chimney and the paver walk and steps at the entry. One image is not a house photo at all: it shows a company lawn sign staked in the grass at the edge of a driveway.
All walls were re-clad, including the large blank gambrel wall and the dormer cheeks. Openings were re-cased in white, the rake and eave edges wrapped, and gutters and downspouts hung at the corners. Around the brick chimney the courses were cut and returned, and the starter course stopped above the exposed concrete foundation.
