Framingham, MA - deck building completed June 2023. The refaced deck pairs sandy beige composite boards with warm brown stair nosings and borders, carried by chunky white posts and rails with slim black balusters down a wide staircase.
Photographed from the lawn, the deck reads as one long run across the back of the house, carried on white-wrapped posts set on concrete footings above a walkout basement, with a stair dropping off the left end. Post sleeves and molded caps hide the structural posts, and the underside stays open so the walkout level below still gets light. Border boards close the perimeter and the stair nosings are run in the contrasting tone so each tread edge reads clearly.
