We completed this siding job in Quincy, MA in May 2024. Mid-project photos show gray-blue lap siding going up over fresh housewrap, with white corner trim and gutters already in place and new deck framing along the side wall.

This one is caught in the middle. The front photo shows the gable entry rebuilt in fresh framing, still bare plywood and posts, with gray-blue lap siding already run across the walls on either side and the doorway open to the interior. Around the side, siding stops at a band above the parged foundation, with housewrap folded into a basement entry and old furring strips and wall openings exposed below. The wide shot shows pump staging up the full side wall over green sheathing and wrap, with work moving along the second floor.

The walls were stripped to sheathing, taped and wrapped, then re-sided in lap siding with white casings, corner boards and a water table band. The entry roof and posts were rebuilt from new framing. Staging was set the height of the wall for the upper courses, and openings at the foundation level were re-framed and wrapped before siding.

Details visible in the photos include mid-installation housewrap, new deck framing, white corner trim. Materials on the elevation: gray-blue vinyl lap siding, white trim, housewrap underlayment, white gutters and downspouts.

Materials on this job: CertainTeed, GAF, Harvey. The finish shown is medium gray-blue. Pricing was agreed in writing before the crew started, and the number at the end matched it. The work carries a written workmanship warranty alongside the manufacturer's material warranty.
