James Hardie Siding in Quincy, MA

We completed this siding job in Quincy, MA in January 2022. Bright white fiber cement lap siding wraps this three-story coastal home, sharply outlined by black window frames, a black entry door and dark cable railings on the upper decks.

Both photos are taken close in and look up the three-story walls. The rear corner shows flat-roofed massing with stacked decks, a cable-railed roof deck at the top, and siding that stops short at the lowest level where the concrete foundation and sheathing are still exposed. Framing lumber is stacked on the patio below. The street-facing corner is complete: courses run tight and level up a full three stories, past black-framed windows of several sizes, to a low-slope roof edge with dark fascia. A dark double entry door sits under a small flat canopy on a stone stoop.

The job covered a tall three-story house in fiber cement lap with black-trimmed openings and dark fascia. Windows on all levels were flashed and cased, siding was fitted around stacked deck ledgers and cable railing posts, and the work is shown finished on the front while the lower rear wall was still being closed in.
