We completed this siding job in Weymouth, MA in July 2026. Slate blue lap siding with white trim wraps this two-story home, seen from the driveway along a privacy fence and from the front where white columns and railings frame the porch.
Looking up from the back yard, the shed-roofed rear wall is finished in slate blue with white casings and a white fascia band; a raised deck and lumber staging crowd the base, and a light and outlet are already reset. The straight-on rear shot shows the hip-roofed main block with a brick chimney at the ridge, a white door and sidelight onto a railed deck, and paver patio below. The third photo is a work shot on the deck: an old wall opened to bare board sheathing beside a window, new white trim stock stacked, and a wrapped bundle of siding still in its printed packaging.
The rear and side walls were stripped to sheathing and rebuilt with fiber cement lap over new trim. Windows and the rear door were recased in white, the fascia band and corners were replaced, and lights, outlets and the deck rail were worked around and reset as the courses went up.
Details visible in the photos include front porch with columns, shed dormer, white balustrade steps. Materials on the elevation: fiber cement lap siding, white PVC trim, white window casings, front porch columns.
Built with James Hardie, Trex, Andersen. The finish shown is Boothbay Blue (closest manufacturer match). Deliveries were staged so materials weren't sitting on the lawn for weeks. One project manager ran the job from first measurement through final walkthrough.
