James Hardie Siding in Stoneham, MA

A siding project our team completed in Stoneham, MA - January 2022. A before-and-after pair shows the faded tan colonial transformed with deep navy lap siding, white casings and navy shutters, and a second view shows the same navy carried onto the attached garage wing.

A gambrel-roofed colonial with a one-car attached garage wing sits behind a paver driveway. The front shows a small entry portico on square white posts, black shutters flanking the upper sash, and a brick chimney at the far gable. Side and rear views show the garage gable joined to the two-story block, a gable vent at each peak, and a run of exterior electrical panels and conduit on the rear wall. White casings, rake boards and frieze trim outline every plane against the dark blue field.

All elevations, including the garage wing, were reclad in lap siding with new white corner boards, rakes, frieze and window casings. Openings were re-trimmed and the siding cut around meter bases, disconnects and conduit on the rear wall. New white gutters and downspouts were hung, and a debris trailer parked in the drive shows tear-off was hauled off as work progressed.
