Wellesley, MA - siding completed January 2022. Khaki tan lap siding covers the colonial and its garage wing, detailed with white window casings, corner boards, gable vents and gutters against a dark architectural shingle roof.
The colonial has a side-gable main block with a brick chimney riding the end wall, a lower front wing with a wide picture window, and a gabled entry hood over iron-railed stone steps. From the driveway a rear gabled wing and attached garage step off the main house at a lower ridge. A third photo, taken mid-job on bare dirt, shows the garage wing and rear wall newly sided down to a fresh white parge on the foundation, with white water table trim closing the bottom course.
Lap siding was installed across the main block, front wing, rear wing and garage, each elevation carried down to a white water-table trim above the foundation. Windows were re-cased in white and gable vents set into the rake ends. New gutters and downspouts were hung on the eaves, and the foundation was parged before the base trim went on.
Details visible in the photos include two-story colonial, attached garage wing, gable vents. Materials on the elevation: lap siding, white PVC trim, white gutters and downspouts, architectural shingle roof.
