We completed this deck building job in Needham, MA in August 2024. A two-story home wrapped in blue-gray lap siding with crisp white trim, white porch railings and black standing-seam accent roofs over the entry and lower garage bay.
The house is a raised split-level: a full upper floor over a walk-out lower level, with a low-pitched gable over the left wing and a taller gabled ell on the right. A small pedimented entry portico with turned white columns covers the front door, reached by a run of white-railed steps that lands on a poured landing. Around the side, a second entry sits under a shallow black metal shed roof, with its own steps down to a paved side yard. Below the side stairs, a hinged double gate closes off storage under the landing.
Siding was carried across every plane of the house, including the gable ends, the band above the parged foundation and the returns behind the entry portico. Trim work included new corner boards, frieze and window casings, plus rebuilt entry and side stoops with railings and stair skirts. Under the side stairs the crew built a screened storage enclosure with vertical PVC boards, matching skirt slats and black strap hinges.

Built with AZEK, CertainTeed, GAF. The finish shown is Granite Gray (closest manufacturer match). One project manager ran the job from first measurement through final walkthrough. Deliveries were staged so materials weren't sitting on the lawn for weeks.
