A siding project our team completed in Dedham, MA - August 2022. Deep denim blue lap siding with bright white corner boards and window casings wraps the gable end and side entry, and a close-up shows the crisp siding reveal above the foundation line.
The finished shots show a compact gable-front house with a shed-roofed rear entry porch on posts, a paver patio and a painted parged foundation left gray below the siding. A brick chimney climbs the far gable wall past the eave. The third photo is the same street mid-job: the roof is shingled but the walls are stripped to sheathing and covered in green-printed weather barrier, staging poles stand off both gable ends, and a disposal container in the foreground is loaded with torn-off siding and debris.
This was a full tear-off. Old siding came off to the sheathing, a housewrap weather barrier was installed over the whole envelope, and the new lap siding went on from there with white corner boards, casings and a band above the foundation. Staging was set on the gable ends for the tall walls, and a dumpster on site handled the removed material.
