We completed this siding job in Marlboro, MA in January 2022. Deep brown lap siding covers the whole house and garage wing, trimmed in cream around the windows, gable vents and garage openings, with a small covered entry porch at the center.

The house reads as a gambrel main block with a long gabled garage wing and a lower ell off the back. From the driveway, brown siding runs unbroken up the garage gable to a louvered vent, with two white-trimmed garage doors below and a small covered entry between the wings. The rear yard view shows a raised wood deck with stairs down to grade, a red side door, and a brick chimney standing off the far corner. Around the other side, the tall gambrel wall carries the siding past a bulkhead, mechanical units and a walkout basement door.

Every elevation was re-clad, including the tall gambrel wall, the garage gable and the low rear ell. Openings were cased in white and gable vents re-set into the new courses. New white gutters, downspouts and corner boards were installed, with siding cut in around the bulkhead, condensers and chimney at the foundation line.

Details visible in the photos include two-car garage, covered entry porch, gable vents. Materials on the elevation: vinyl lap siding, cream PVC trim, cream garage doors, asphalt shingle roof.

Specified here: CertainTeed. The finish shown is deep brown. The site was cleared at the end of each working day rather than only at the end of the job. The same crew that started the project finished it.
