We completed this siding job in Framingham, MA in January 2022. Warm taupe lap siding over insulation board wraps the gable end, with wide white PVC casings, corner boards and sills detailed around each window and a vented gable above.

The photos follow a low single-story ranch with an L-shaped plan, the two wings meeting at a recessed entry alcove reached by a paver walk. Taupe lap siding runs unbroken along both wings and turns the inside corner cleanly, ending on a white starter strip just above the low block foundation. Roof-mounted solar panels sit on the long shed slope, and a brick chimney rises behind the ridge. A close-up on the end wall shows a white-cased slider window with a sloped sill and a downspout carried down the corner.

Wall surfaces were re-covered from the foundation up, with new white casings, sills and a starter strip installed around every opening and along the base. Gutters, fascia and the vented aluminum soffit were replaced along both eaves, with a downspout tied in at the corner. The final photo shows the new gutter run set tight to the shingle edge with a hanger screw and end cap in place.

Details visible in the photos include single-story gable end, roof-mounted solar panels, wide PVC window casing. Materials on the elevation: vinyl lap siding, white PVC window trim, white corner boards, gable vent.

Products used: AZEK, CertainTeed. The finish shown is warm taupe. Permits, inspections and dumpster logistics were handled by us. Progress photos went to the homeowner as the job moved along.
