A door installation project our team completed in Holliston, MA - May 2024. Charcoal gray lap siding covers the gable end and rear of the ranch, set off by white window trim, fascia, and a painted foundation, with a small deck and black railing off the back door.
The in-progress photo shows the raised ranch stripped to DuPont Tyvek house wrap with pump-jack staging poles standing at each corner and planks run along the front and side. Finished shots show the front elevation with a teal entry door set between narrow glass sidelites, an arched decorative panel at the top, and black shutters flanking the upper windows. The gable end reads clean above a painted white foundation wall, with new white casing on both windows and a fresh mulch bed at the base.
The house was stripped and re-wrapped in Tyvek before new siding went on, worked from pump-jack staging rather than ladders. The entry opening was rebuilt for a door with sidelites, with new casing and a trimmed head. Windows were re-cased, shutters reset, and the foundation line finished with a painted band above the mulch bed.
