Boston, MA - siding completed January 2022. Creamy off-white lap siding is paired with dark brown window surrounds, gutters, and downspouts across the rear and side elevations, meeting a brick paver patio and a covered bulkhead.
These are tight elevation shots of a tall, narrow city house on a paver side yard. The first looks up at a rear ell whose low-pitch roof dies into the taller main block, with a full-lite storm door, three double-hungs and a lantern all set in dark surrounds. The second is a vertical shot down the side wall to the driveway, where a dark downspout drops the full height and turns at a paved walk beside a condenser and a vinyl privacy gate. A third frame shows a nearby gable-front house finished in dark shakes with white trim over a bay.
Siding was taken around both the main block and the rear ell, with the ell roof-to-wall junction trimmed and flashed. Every window and the entry door got new dark surrounds, and continuous gutter, corner and frieze trim in the same dark color was run to match. Downspouts were re-hung and discharged onto the paver surface.
Details visible in the photos include two-tone cream and brown trim, bay window bump-out, bulkhead cover. Materials on the elevation: vinyl lap siding, dark brown window trim, brown aluminum gutters, white storm door.
Products used: CertainTeed, Harvey. The finish shown is Colonial White (closest manufacturer match). Permits, inspections and dumpster logistics were handled by us. Progress photos went to the homeowner as the job moved along.
