We completed this window replacement job in Greater Boston, MA in December 2025. Two close-ups show newly installed windows: a paired double-hung unit with black shutters set in white siding, and a smaller unit trimmed in white against the red brick lower wall.
The house is a white lap-sided colonial with a brick lower wall on the entry side and continuous rectangular soffit vents along the eave. One photo looks up the gable end at a paired double-hung unit flanked by black louvered shutters, its new white casing tucked under the roof edge and downspout elbow. Another shows two more double-hungs high on a long white wall, each set in fresh white surround with the old dryer vent left in place. At grade, a small horizontal unit sits in the brick with a white head trim board above it.
The work replaced windows across several elevations and rebuilt the exterior trim around each opening. Openings in both the sided walls and the brick section were re-cased in white, with the brick unit given a wide header board and sill run to close the gap under the soffit. Existing shutters were reset against the new casings, and gutter and soffit lines were left undisturbed.
Details visible in the photos include twin double-hung window unit, black shutters, brick lower wall. Materials on the elevation: white lap siding, white PVC window trim, black louvered shutters, red brick veneer.
Products used: Marvin. The finish shown is warm white. Permits, inspections and dumpster logistics were handled by us. Progress photos went to the homeowner as the job moved along.
