This window replacement project in Canton, MA was finished in June 2023. The raised ranch is resided in medium blue lap siding with bright white window trim and gutters, replacing the older blue siding and dated windows visible in the before photo.
This raised ranch sits on a poured concrete foundation with a two-car garage tucked under the gable end. A screened porch projects off the back at the upper level, reached by a painted wood stair that runs down to a lower entry door. New windows show up all across the rear wall in tight white casings, and the gable end carries a smaller pair up high. A close-up of one bay window shows the white-wrapped box and seat board projecting out from the blue siding under the soffit.
Old units throughout the house were pulled and replaced, including a projecting bay that needed its box, head and seat rewrapped in white. Every opening was re-cased in white trim tied into the new lap siding, and white soffit, fascia and downspouts were carried around the eaves. The garage doors and screened porch were kept and worked around.
Details visible in the photos include raised ranch elevation, brick chimney, black stair railing. Materials on the elevation: vinyl lap siding, white PVC window trim, white gutters, double-hung windows.
Products used: CertainTeed, Harvey. The finish shown is Pacific Blue (closest manufacturer match). Permits, inspections and dumpster logistics were handled by us. Progress photos went to the homeowner as the job moved along.
