Walpole, MA - siding completed January 2022. Blue-gray lap siding wraps the rear split-level elevation under a raised deck with white vinyl railings, while a second view shows a green-gray section with cream trim and a bracketed bay window.
The before photo shows what the front looked like: sage siding with cream trim, mint-green garage doors, a bay window and stone-faced entry steps under a basketball hoop. The finished elevations are cooler and cleaner. One gable end runs blue-gray lap siding up under a white rake, with a bracketed bay window projecting at the corner and a white vinyl deck rail visible beyond. Another long wall shows the siding passing a full-height brick chimney and stepping down to an AC condenser and meter. A fourth view catches the raised deck with its white rails and stair dropping to grade.
This is a split-level, so the crew had to work multiple wall heights and step the courses around a projecting bay, a full-height brick chimney and a raised deck. The bay's support brackets were kept and the siding cut to them. Window casings were re-run, the foundation was left painted as its own band below the starter course, and the meter, hose bib and condenser lines were all re-trimmed where the siding met them.
