CertainTeed Siding in Northborough, MA

A siding project our team completed in Northborough, MA - June 2022. Medium gray lap siding covers the tall gable wall and garage level, with white trim outlining every window, the sunroom bump-out and the carriage-style garage doors.

The house is a center-entrance colonial with an arched entry portico, flanking carriage lamps and a brick stoop with white railings. Its attached garage wing steps down the slope on the driveway side, where a tall gable wall of gray siding rises above two carriage-style doors and a small upper window. At the back, a shed-roofed sunroom with wide glass sits next to a screened porch skirted in lattice. White casings outline everything from the arched-top picture window to the small stair-landing sash.

Siding was replaced across the main house, the tall garage wall and the rear additions, each plane getting its own course layout as the grade dropped. Window and door openings were re-trimmed in white, including the bay and picture-window units and the carriage door surrounds. The sunroom, screened porch and lattice skirt were sided and worked around rather than rebuilt.
