Photographed in Natick, MA after the crew wrapped up in January 2022. Medium gray lap siding with white trim runs across the garage wing and the full rear elevation, where a covered porch and new roof complete the exterior update.
One frame is a tight close-up where dark gray woodgrain planks butt into a white corner board with a downspout running behind it, showing the caulk joint and the shadow line between courses. The outbuilding photo catches the swap mid-stream: the gable end and one long wall are done in gray, while the far wall is still the old olive siding under the same roof. The house itself is a gambrel with three gabled dormers along the slope, gray lap on every wall, white rakes and casings, and a small columned entry portico at the end.
Old siding was pulled and replaced with gray woodgrain lap on the house and the detached outbuilding, one elevation at a time. Corner boards, dormer trim, rakes and window casings were replaced in white, and downspouts were reset over the finished corners.
Details visible in the photos include two-car attached garage, gable dormer, carriage lantern lights. Materials on the elevation: fiber cement lap siding, white PVC trim, asphalt shingle roof, white garage doors.
Built with James Hardie, GAF, Harvey. The finish shown is Gray Slate (closest manufacturer match). Deliveries were staged so materials weren't sitting on the lawn for weeks. One project manager ran the job from first measurement through final walkthrough.
