A siding project our team completed in Greater Boston, MA - March 2026. Sage-green composite lap siding covers the whole house and the attached garage, paired with white window casings, corner boards and gutters under a fresh dark-gray architectural shingle roof.
One photo catches the job partway along: a wall of old tan clapboard with a brand-new white double-hung dropped into a taped and flashed opening, black seam tape still visible around the jambs. The finished views circle the house. From the driveway the attached garage wing and its gable vent line up with the main gambrel roof, and around back a second gable and a row of upstairs windows sit under fresh dark-gray shingles. The front is quieter: shutterless white-cased windows, a lamp post, and brick steps up to the entry.
Windows and roof were replaced along with the walls, which is why the mid-job photo shows a fresh sash sitting in a flashed opening before any new siding went on. Every opening got new casing and sill trim, corner boards and rakes were re-run in white, and new white gutters and downspouts follow the roof line on both the house and the garage.
Details visible in the photos include attached garage wing, gabled dormer wall, brick chimney. Materials on the elevation: composite lap siding, white PVC trim, architectural asphalt shingle roof, white gutters and downspouts.
Materials on this job: Everlast, GAF, Harvey. The finish shown is soft sage green. Pricing was agreed in writing before the crew started, and the number at the end matched it. The work carries a written workmanship warranty alongside the manufacturer's material warranty.
