CertainTeed Siding in Holliston, MA

We completed this siding job in Holliston, MA in January 2022. A gray-sided home combining lap siding with a shake-textured gable accent, white window trim wrapping a wide sunroom window bank, a small bay window and a brick chimney above the roofline.

The wide front view shows a long low ranch with a brick chimney at the ridge, a bank of casement windows on the left wing, a wide picture-window group in the middle, and a wood door reached by brick steps with an iron rail. A second photo shows the split-level end of the property, where gray shake-textured panels sit above an original brick wall and a two-car garage. A third angle looks into the courtyard between the wings, lap siding on the near gable and shake panels on the far one with a garden arbor between. The last frame is a stacked before-and-after of the sunroom window bank, dark brown shingles and sliders replaced by white-trimmed units over gray lap.

The before-and-after shows the sunroom wall was stripped to sheathing and rebuilt: the old window band came out, the header and sill were re-trimmed, and lap siding was run below with shake panels above. Elsewhere the crew mixed lap and shake-textured panels by plane, keeping the existing brick untouched. All window trim, corner boards and eave trim were replaced.
