Framingham, MA - siding completed January 2022. A before-and-after pairing shows dated wood siding replaced with charcoal gray fiber cement and white trim, and a rear view of the same ranch in charcoal siding facing a paver pool patio.
One frame looks along the low ranch toward a wood gate and side entry, charcoal lap siding running unbroken across a blank wall under a hipped roof with fresh white fascia. Another is taken from above the pool patio, showing the L of the house wrapped in charcoal with white trim, a brick chimney at the ridge and a pergola at the far corner. A third view shows the entry and attached two-car garage, charcoal siding under a deep white-trimmed overhang with white garage doors. The last photo shows the rear of the wing, siding meeting the roof edge beside arborvitae.
The siding runs in continuous courses across long blank walls with corner boards at every return, so the whole shell was re-clad rather than patched. White frieze, fascia and soffit were installed at the deep roof overhangs, and the gutters and downspouts are new. Meters, hose bibs and exterior lights were reset over the new cladding.
Details visible in the photos include before-and-after comparison, large picture window, single-story ranch. Materials on the elevation: fiber cement lap siding, white PVC trim, white-framed windows, asphalt shingle roof.
