We completed this siding job in Dedham, MA in December 2023. Medium gray lap siding with white trim runs down the side of the house to a compact side deck and staircase built with brown composite treads, white risers, and black metal balusters.
The street view shows a small gable-front bungalow with a projecting entry gable, a brick chimney on the right slope and a gable vent above the porch roof. Two wide window units flank the front door, and brick steps rise from a paver walk to the stoop. Around the side, a deck platform sits at door height above the exposed concrete foundation, with an open stair run down to the asphalt drive. A third photo stands on the deck itself, looking out between railing posts.
Siding was replaced across the front and side elevations with new corner boards and window casings, and the entry gable and eave returns re-trimmed. The side deck was built on a framed platform over the foundation wall with composite decking and risers, a white fascia band, and a full stair run with landing and matching rails.
Details visible in the photos include side entry deck, composite stair treads, white newel posts. Materials on the elevation: fiber cement lap siding, white PVC trim, composite deck boards, white composite railing.
