A siding project our team completed in Boston, MA - January 2022. A gambrel-roofed home wrapped in medium blue lap siding with wide white trim and window casings, showing a bay window on the front and a fieldstone foundation along the side elevation.

The before photo shows the same house in tired white siding with mismatched patches, an aluminum awning window in the gable and a bowed run of clapboards on the side wall. The finished front-corner view shows blue lap over a lattice-skirted crawl space, a run of grid windows across the enclosed front porch, and black shutters at the second floor. Another angle catches the tall gable end with an attic vent, an entry porch roof with new white rake and soffit, and the fieldstone foundation carrying the corner. The third finished frame shows the opposite side, siding running past a small projecting bay to the front porch.

The comparison confirms the old cladding came off rather than being covered, since the wall planes now read flat where the previous siding waved. New white rake boards, frieze and soffit were installed at every eave, and the gutters and downspouts are new. Window openings all carry fresh flat casing with head trim, and the porch skirt was closed with framed lattice.

Details visible in the photos include gambrel roofline, black louvered shutters, bay window. Materials on the elevation: vinyl lap siding, white PVC trim, asphalt shingle roof, white-framed windows.

Built with CertainTeed, Harvey. The finish shown is Pacific Blue (closest manufacturer match). Deliveries were staged so materials weren't sitting on the lawn for weeks. One project manager ran the job from first measurement through final walkthrough.
