This door installation project in Stow, MA was finished in July 2026. Light almond-beige siding wraps the main house, rear sunroom and garage, with bright white casings around black-framed windows and shingle-style panels on the garage gable end.
The set moves around a rambling cape in winter light. At the entry, a black full-lite door sits under a small shed overhang on white posts, with shingle-profile siding running up into the gable and a brick chimney above. The rear elevation shows a low sunroom addition wrapped in the same light siding, its black-framed windows and slider looking out over a dusted lawn. The end wall of the attached barn-like wing is plain white lap siding with a full-lite side door and a picket fence beyond. A close view of a triple black-framed window shows how tight the casing sits against the shingle field.
Doors and windows drove this job: the entry, the rear slider and the window units are all new, each set into openings that were re-cased and given a drip head before the siding closed in around them. Two siding profiles are in play, shingle panels on the main house and lap on the wing, so the transitions had to be trimmed rather than butted. New white gutters and downspouts follow both roof lines.
Details visible in the photos include rear sunroom addition, gambrel roofline, brick chimney. Materials on the elevation: lap siding, shingle-style siding, white PVC trim, black-framed windows.
Materials on this job: AZEK, James Hardie, ThermaTru. The finish shown is light almond beige. Pricing was agreed in writing before the crew started, and the number at the end matched it. The work carries a written workmanship warranty alongside the manufacturer's material warranty.
