A siding project our team completed in Wayland, MA - January 2022. A before-and-after pair and a rear view show the home moving from dated brown shingles to blue-gray lap siding with white casings, alongside a painted white brick wing and rear deck.

All three photos are finished shots on a bare-ground winter day. The wide rear view shows a two-story block joined to a lower gabled wing with a skylight, plus a white picket fence and arched gate at the left edge. Closer in, a retractable awning cassette is mounted above the sliding door, and a composite deck with white railing steps down to a granite landing. The third frame turns the corner to a gambrel-shaped end wall: a louvered attic vent near the peak, a light blue door under a small shingled hood, and a mini-split condenser on a stand beside the walk.

The house, its lower wing, and the gambrel end wall were all reclad in blue-gray lap siding with white casings and corner boards. The crew fit siding around a retractable awning, a sliding patio door, a mini-split line set, and the deck ledger. New white gutters and downspouts were hung along the eave and wing rooflines.

Details visible in the photos include split-level with painted brick wing, bay window, retractable awning. Materials on the elevation: fiber cement lap siding, white trim, white vinyl windows, painted brick wing.

Specified here: James Hardie. The finish shown is Boothbay Blue (closest manufacturer match). The site was cleared at the end of each working day rather than only at the end of the job. The same crew that started the project finished it.
