CertainTeed Siding in Plymouth, MA

This siding project in Plymouth, MA was finished in February 2023. Cedar-look shake siding in a warm greige taupe covers the split-level home and its side wing, trimmed throughout in white around new windows, doors, and rooflines.

The house is a raised split with the lower level open beneath a lattice-skirted deck at one end. Shake-profile siding covers both the tall gable end and the stepped-down wings, and the entry photo shows a small gabled vestibule pushed forward between two roof planes with a new full-lite door. A third close-up looks up a long side wall to a triangular gable window and a brick chimney that runs from grade past the eave, with the shake courses cut cleanly to both sides of the brick.

Shake-style siding was installed over the main house, the vestibule and the side wing, with new white casings around every opening and a white frieze under the eaves. The crew scribed courses to the chimney and to the raked gable trim, and installed new gutters and downspouts at the eaves. Foundation and lattice areas were left exposed below the starter course.
