A siding project our team completed in Milford, MA - July 2023. Deep blue-gray lap siding covers the gable end and front of the colonial, set off by white corner boards, window casings and gutters, with a brick chimney rising through the roofline.
Two rear angles show a tall three-level elevation stepping up from a poured concrete foundation, with a brick chimney running past the roofline and a louvered vent in the upper gable. An arched-top window sits in the middle of the back wall, cased white to follow the curve. Around at the front, the colonial pairs the same siding with a two-car garage wing set forward, a covered entry between white columns and a small stoop, with white casings on every opening and gutters run along both roof planes.
Siding was replaced across all three levels including the gable ends and the garage wing, which meant staging or ladder work well above the walkout foundation. The arched window head was cased to the curve rather than boxed square. Corner boards, frieze, casings and the gutter and downspout runs were all replaced in white.
Details visible in the photos include gable end elevation, exposed concrete foundation, brick chimney. Materials on the elevation: lap siding, white PVC trim, white gutters and downspouts, double-hung windows.
Products used: James Hardie, ThermaTru. The finish shown is Evening Blue (closest manufacturer match). Permits, inspections and dumpster logistics were handled by us. Progress photos went to the homeowner as the job moved along.
