Melrose, MA - siding completed October 2022. Progress photos of a Victorian multi-family: soft sage green lap siding going up over fresh house wrap, with the original weathered cedar shingles still exposed on the upper gable.

The before photo shows the house in badly weathered dark brown cedar shingles, curling and blotchy across the turret and the third floor, with a sagging porch roof and peeling porch columns. A second in-progress frame is taken from the steps: ladders leaning on the turret, the porch ceiling stripped, and siding bundles staged on the porch rail. A third shot shows the sage green going up over the turret and first floor while the upper gable is still bare shingle behind blue house wrap. The last view shows a mostly finished side elevation, green lap running to the gable peak past a porta-john and dumpster at the property line.

This was a full strip: the weathered shingles came off down to sheathing and were covered in house wrap before the new lap went on, working the building in stages from the porch level upward. The porch roof, ceiling and columns were opened up as part of the same job. Window casings and corner boards are new, and the work was staged from ladders and pump jacks with a dumpster on site.
