We completed this siding job in Marlboro, MA in March 2023. Deep blue lap siding with white trim covers the rear and front elevations, meeting a brick lower level on the front and opening through french doors onto a wood deck at the back.
Three views of a two-story home, one of them taken mid-installation. The back wall shows french doors onto a low wood deck with lattice skirting, a picnic table, and a white privacy fence running the property line. From the street, a brick lower story carries shuttered windows while the upper story is sided, and a second full-height brick chimney rises on the gable end beside a lighter blue wall. The work-in-progress frame shows staging planks and ladders against a wall half covered in new courses and half in printed housewrap.
The upper walls and gable ends were re-sided in lap siding over new housewrap, with the brick lower level and both chimneys left as found. Window openings were re-cased in white and starter, corner, and J-channel trim installed. Crews staged the elevation with ladders and plank scaffold to run the courses above the first floor.
