Photographed in Andover, MA after the crew wrapped up in September 2024. One photo shows pale gray-green lap siding above an original red brick first floor with dark shutters and white trim, while the second looks out through a newly installed white sliding patio door onto the deck.
One photo is taken from inside a room with oak flooring, looking out through a new white two-panel slider onto a weathered gray deck with peeling stain, a white railing and a bay window on the adjacent wall. The matching exterior shot shows the same unit just set: white frame and sash, factory labels still on the glass, the rough opening banded top, bottom and both jambs in black flashing membrane, with a tarp and tools laid out on the deck. The third view is the rear elevation with a tall brick chimney and lattice deck skirting.
An existing opening was prepped and a new sliding patio door installed. The framing was fully wrapped in self-adhered flashing at the sill, jambs and head before the unit went in, and the head detail tucks up under the existing soffit and gutter. Work was staged on the deck with tarps down to protect the boards.
Details visible in the photos include brick lower facade, second-story lap siding, dark louvered shutters. Materials on the elevation: fiber cement lap siding, white PVC trim, red brick veneer, dark brown shutters.
