A deck building project our team completed in Milford, MA - January 2023. The deck is finished in light gray composite boards with white fascia and wide box steps, framed by rich mahogany-toned posts and rails under a white beadboard ceiling with recessed lights.
Two photos show a small entry landing at a red door: a low composite platform with a mitered picture-frame border, white fascia skirting the rim, and three wide box steps stepping down to a fieldstone walk. Pressure-treated posts are visible under the open side. The night photo covers the larger covered deck at the rear, boards running out from a sliding door and a small window, with a beadboard ceiling and recessed can light overhead and the underside of the upper-level deck framing above.
Both structures were rebuilt in composite decking on treated framing with white fascia and riser trim. The entry landing got new posts, a picture-frame border and stacked box steps landing on stone. The covered deck was framed off the house at the slider, decked, skirted, and finished with a beadboard ceiling and recessed lighting; stained posts and rails were set at the open edges.
Details visible in the photos include covered porch deck, mahogany support columns, wide box steps. Materials on the elevation: gray composite decking, white composite fascia, mahogany-stained posts and rails, white beadboard porch ceiling.
Products used: Trex. The finish shown is Foggy Wharf (closest manufacturer match). Progress photos went to the homeowner as the job moved along. Permits, inspections and dumpster logistics were handled by us.
