Two of the photos show what the crew inherited: a rambling split-level with weathered pale siding, streaked shingle courses on the ranch wing, a skylight in the low-slope roof, and dated basement windows sitting just above grade. A brick chimney runs up the far end. In the finished views the house reads much cleaner, with tight lap courses on the walls, a board-and-batten gable over the garage bay, and a long shed dormer carrying a run of small windows above the roof-mounted solar array.
The job mixed two siding profiles on one house: lap boards on the main walls and vertical board-and-batten in the gable and dormer faces. Corners, rakes, and window casings were run in wide trim, and the crew had to cut and flash around a full-height brick chimney, an existing solar array, and a skylight without disturbing them.
Details visible in the photos include board-and-batten upper gable, attached two-car garage, white frieze and corner boards. Materials on the elevation: fiber cement lap siding, board-and-batten panel siding, white PVC trim, white gutters.
